Walmart savings

Ok, so I decided to go to Wal-Mart because I had a few coupons that were expiring today. As everyone knows, Wal-Mart doesn't really do sales, they do "roll backs". So unfortunately, the only savings that I really got were from my coupons. I bought 3 packages of Smithfield bacon, (2) 4lb bags of Iams dog food, 2 ziploc containers, 1 ponds makeup remover wipes, 1 Mr. Clean eraser, 1 Reach value pack toothbrushes, (1) 6 pack of Gilette Fusion cartridge refills, 2 beech-but cereals, 4 single serving velveetas, 1 Millstone coffee, 2 Cesar bistro meals, 1 Cesar Filet Mignon dog treats, 1 Pedegree Jumbone, 2 tag body sprays, 1 Aussie Shampoo, 1 Aussie Conditioner, 1 Dove Shampoo, 1 Dove Conditioner, 1 Head & Shoulders Shampoo and Conditioner, and 1 Gilette Fusion shave gel. I spent $76.32 and saved $39.24!! Like I said, my savings were from my coupons, so yes, I had $39.24 in coupons. I felt bad for the guy who came behind me with just 4 little bags of M&Ms.

Monday's savings

I bought 1 gallon of milk, 1 McCormick Garlic Salt Grinder, 30 jars of Beech-Nut baby food and the publix penny item, store brand oreo cookies. It was suppose to be a 4 pack of toilet tissue but they sold out. I spent $9.49 and saved $12.48! I was also going to buy A1 sauce but they were sold out as well, but I recieved a raincheck and will buy it next week for this weeks sale price...yippee!!

Shopping at Kroger

I just wanted to talk about why I love shopping at Kroger. Kroger is always having some type of GREAT sale!!!! Granted you have to use your Kroger card, but really....how hard is that? Kroger has also teamed up with several companys doing e-coupons that gives us more opportunities to save money. They have Cellfire.com, Shortcuts.com, P&G e-saver.com, and Bringinghopetothetable.com. You can combine those e-coupons with manufacturer coupons and store coupons for even more savings. And they double manufacturer coupons up to $.50!! So if you have a coupon for $.50 off an item, you actually get $1 off the item. Then if you use your Kroger card, they compute how much money you would have spent and give you points so that you can recieve discounts on your gas as well. So even if you only spent $10, and you saved $20, you'll recieve 30 fuel saver points. So if you fill up at Kroger, you'll automactically recieve $.03 off each gallon with your Kroger card, but with 100 fuel saver points, you recieve $.10 off each gallon. Who doesn't need cheaper gas? Just wanted to brag about my love for Kroger.....next week, Publix. LOL

Continued shopping....

I couldn't wait til Sunday, I had to go to Publix!! I bought 3 bags of Publix chicken tenders, 1 bag of Publix chicken breasts, 2 Beech-Nut rice cereal, 1 Huggies Jumbo pack, 12 Beech-Nut jars of babyfood, and 1 Huggies 72-count wipes. I spent $21.90 and saved $31.61!!! I really love shopping at Publix!!!

Okay, so I went back to Kroger today because while I was there this morning, I saw that this Hamburger helper was on sale for $0.45!! So I looked at my e-coupons and my printable coupons and realized that I could get 9 of these for $0.30!! But I needed to get 10 items to get the sale price so I added the Betty Crocker Fruit shapes in there and of course had a printable coupon and e-coupon and got in for $0.29. So, I paid $0.89 and saved $10.65!!! Did I mention that I LOVE KROGER!!!!

I just got some awesome coupons to use at Publix but I'll save that trip for Sunday or Monday so that I can get the penny item. Can't wait!!!
